Who Will You Give A Mall To?

Okay, you've set your goals and you know what tools you need to get started. Where do you start?! Hopefully you already have your first 10 members. You may be happy with just that and be ready to stop. However, if you’re like most of our members you’ve caught the My Power Mall “Bug,” you realize how easy it is to give away MY POWER MALL, and you want to give away even more – positioning yourself for even more income!

Our recommendation is that you start with your warm market. Warm market? The definition of a warm market is simple; it is a group of individuals from your present and past whom you know well enough that were you to pick up the phone and call them, they would recognize you once they heard your name.

Now, we realize there are some of you out there who are part of the NFL club. (No friends left!) You may have done so many home-based businesses that people run when they see you coming. Or maybe you just don't have a circle of friends, or you live in the boonies somewhere. That can be a reality, and there are systems to enable you to build a business no matter what your situation is, but we'll concentrate on those later. For now we're going to focus on your warm market. Here's what we want you to do.

Make a list of at least 100 people you know. 100? Yes, you can do it! This can be critical to your success. Go through your address book. Think of everybody you come into contact with. What about people at church? At work? In your neighborhood? Who do you know who's good with people? Teachers? People who deal with the public? Go through the yellow pages. You'll be surprised how many people you really know.

Don’t all these people shop? Don’t they all have everyday needs and wants? Wouldn’t they love to make money from buying them? Wouldn’t they love to save time & gas, and have things delivered to their door? Of course – so go talk to them!

We think a good goal is to have your first 10 people come from within your warm market. Expand out from there in any way you want.

Now, here's the thing that should help you relax. You don’t have to pick up that phone that suddenly weighs 100 lbs and call them. Remember your E-cards, Invitation Cards, Emails, Audio emails…? UTILIZE THEM!

Of course, if you’re one of those people who don’t mind talking on the phone, and you actually want to call them, here’s all you need to say: “I just got involved with a company that gives everyone their own Online Shopping Mall with 1000 stores. The whole thing is FREE. Do you know anyone that would like to make additional income working part-time from home?”

When they say "me", or "doing what", or "what company", or any other question, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO EXPLAIN THE BUSINESS! Get their email address so you can send them an E-card or email with the link to your Mall. Don’t just give them your website address – they might not go. If they open an email from you and only have to click on a link, they’ll go!

If you’re with them in person, hand them an Invitation card or Flyer, or get their Email address.

ALWAYS GET THEIR PHONE NUMBER! Say, "Give me your phone number and I'll call you in a few days to see if you have any questions." Notice: you didn't sell anything. You didn't talk about the company. THE LESS YOU SAY THE BETTER. DON'T TALK ABOUT THE BUSINESS!

Why? It's not that we're trying to hide anything. My Power Mall is the best business opportunity in America. But we have learned to let our tools do the work for us. Because they are so well done, and because they do such a great job of presenting the company, you will give your prospects the best possible chance of getting involved. If you think you can do a better job talking to people, you're probably mistaken. And, hey, what's the point of trying to reinvent the wheel? Find a system that works and DO IT!

Let's say for discussion sake that you COULD do an incredible job of talking to people yourself - without using any of the great tools available. You might be the world's greatest sales person. But so what? It's not duplicable. Not many other people are great sales people. You need to do things everyone can do. ANYONE can send out E-cards or hand out Invitation Cards. You have to have a system that ANYONE can do if you want your business to succeed. Your success will come as more people join your Shopping Rebate System. If people can't duplicate your actions, you have a job, not a business!

Trust us on this one. DON'T EXPLAIN THE BUSINESS!! There - have we made ourselves plain enough? :) We hope so, because this is crucial to your success. Give the My Power Mall tools to everybody you meet.

A few more key things to remember:

1) Your enthusiasm is what will convince people to take a look. You don't need to know anything except that you are excited about My Power Mall! That implies a belief level that allows that enthusiasm. If there are lingering doubts, or questions that are hindering you, please call your sponsor and talk through them! Watch the My Power Mall Flash Presentation once a day. ATTITUDE IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ABILITY!

2) Don't shy away from your warm market, saying "Well, I'll talk to them when I'm making more money." Don't you want to make money WITH your friends and family?

The money issue is easily solvable. If they ask you, “How much money are you making?” just say, "Hey, I'm just getting started in this thing! But look at it for yourself. What have you got to lose? It’s FREE and I guarantee you it is different from anything you’ve ever seen before!”

3) Don't try to sell people on My Power Mall. It is your job to simply share the business and give them all the information to make a sound business decision for themselves. We don’t ever want you to pressure someone. It’s NOT the way we do business!

You might be able to convince someone intellectually that joining My Power Mall is a great decision, but if that person does not believe they can succeed in My Power Mall, or if they do not believe in themselves and their own abilities to learn and grow - all your great salesmanship is useless.

Building a successful My Power Mall business is a NUMBERS GAME! Those who talk to the most people WIN! We'll talk much more about this, but we’re going to let you go for today. After all - you have a CONTACT LIST to make!

Change the World Tip: Make sure your volunteers have the space, equipment and resources they need. Nothing discourages a volunteer more than being ignored or being put into a situation without the proper instructions or resources for the task they've been asked to do. Ask if they have questions and make sure they completely understand their task. Check back often to make sure they have everything they need or if they have any questions. Respond immediately.
