How about another thought for the day?
A well developed sense of humor is the pole that adds balance to your steps as you walk the tightrope of life!
If you haven’t caught on by now… it helps to have a sense of humor while you are building your business. People can be ridiculous at times. They don’t even realize how silly they sound – or how silly they ARE! Just accept that you’ll run into a lot of those kinds. The good news is that you will run into ENOUGH of the right people if you are consistent in working your business – and if you have the knowledge to answer their questions and concerns.
With that in mind…
18) I’m too old; young; too handicapped; too busy; I’m on welfare, etc.
Sometimes this is just an excuse, but many times these are people who have tried and failed so many times in something else. If your intuition tells you these people could be great, then say…
“I’m too old.” - You know, unless you have all the money you want & need, you’re not too old. Don’t you still buy things for yourself? If you’re willing to learn just basic things on your computer, this can work for you. Why don’t you at least check it out?”
“I’m too young.” - Nonsense! You’re never too young to take charge of your financial future. Your generation is the one that does most of its shopping online. You are in a better position to generate unlimited income with My Power Mall than anyone. Sure, some people will be put off by your youth but don’t let their ignorance stop you from building a business. Don’t let your age stop you from doing what you want to do. You’re getting older every day!
“I’m too busy.” – Is that the way you want to stay? If you continue living your life the way you are right now, do you really believe you’re going to be where you want to be in 5 years? If you want your life to be different you’re going to have to carve out time to make it different. Are you willing to do that?
“I’m on welfare.” - Do you want to stay on welfare? Is what you’re doing right now going to change that for you? My Power Mall is FREE just so anyone can use it to change their life. All the tools are free, and there is special training for people who have absolutely no money. All it takes is for you to have the desire to change your life. Do you have it?”
“I’m too handicapped.” - The beauty of My Power Mall is that anyone can do it as long as you can access a computer on a regular basis. If you can provide the desire, we can provide the tools to help you make it happen. The question is, do you want it?
Whew! We’re finally done with the questions. We're sure you wondered if they would ever end. We hope you learned a lot, but most importantly, we hope you have more confidence in dealing with people. The most important thing to remember is that everyone is looking for a way to improve their lives. Everyone shops for things they use everyday. Everyone can benefit from a FREE Power Mall!
We believe in you!!

Shopping Tip: If you are an international My Power Mall member, look for items you can purchase on your mall and then download them such as: domain names, web hosting, software, travel (airline tickets, hotel reservations, rental cars, etc.), ebooks, etc.
Business Building Tip: Do a search on your favorite search engine for lists of organizations. For instance, type in: contact dog rescue shelters email list (then substitute charter schools, children charities, online businesses, whatever) in your search. Look for lists, for example: akc.org/breeds/rescue.cfm or animal-link.org. You're looking for lots of contact names and email addresses all on one page. You can also put a state name in your search. This saves you from searching one website at a time. Cut and paste the email address into your email, then copy/paste your email message (save it to a document so you can get to it quickly), then add the person's name or the name of the organization. (Brad Gerver, Arizona)
Change the World Tip: Create a Volunteer Wall in a public place in your building. You can create a tree with volunteers' names on the leaves or a wall with their names on each brick, etc. A permanent, visible display not only makes the volunteers feel valuable, it makes the same statement to your organization and the public. (From our 101 Ways to Show Appreciation to Your Volunteers ebook)
