We hope looking at these has increased your excitement about My Power Mall and the business you are building. This company that has “finally gotten it right” has also given you the tools to build our business quickly and prosperously. Let yourself grow as a person – in confidence and knowledge. It will pay off for you everyday!

8) How long have you been in business?

The first thing you need to clarify is whether they are talking about you personally, or about My Power Mall. Once you know, you can answer. “__________, I’ve personally been in business for __________. My Power Mall’s parent company, Together We Can Change The World has been in business since 2001. My Power Mall launched in March of 2007. My Power Mall is exploding all over the country & the world, with members in more than 200 countries. When do YOU want to start making money?"

This is a great technique. You answered their question, but also ended with a question of your own. You’ve given them the info they wanted, but you’ve taken the power back and brought it around to what the real issue is. Do THEY want to make money with My Power Mall?

Once again, people like this want confirmation. They want to know if My Power Mall is for real. Use your tools. Send them to the website. They’ll discover everything they want and need to know.

9) I want to talk to someone in my hometown…

Okay, let’s break this one down. Why do they want to talk to someone in their hometown? They want to feel a little more comfortable. Fine. If there is someone you can connect them with, go ahead and do it. But let’s understand something. Whether you have someone in their home town or not, is not going to mean they are going to be successful. Don’t spend a lot of time trying to track someone down.

What they are really saying is, “I’m not sure I can do this. Show me someone right here who is.” Or they’re saying, “What if I’m alone out here. How do I know you can help me succeed? How are you going to support me if I’m a thousand miles away from you?”

Say, “What you really want to know is if I can give you the kind of support you need in order to succeed. __________, I am only looking for people who have the vision to earn a 6-figure income. Those are the people I’m going to invest my time in. Are you one of those people?” Put yourself out there as the leader they are looking for. They won’t really care if they have someone in their hometown to talk to.

10) Are you publicly traded? Or, Are you listed with Dunn & Bradstreet?

This is a very legitimate question. My Power Mall is a privately held company. Keep it simple. “No, we’re not. My Power Mall will always be a privately held company. Our top priority is our members. If we were publicly traded we would be responsible to the share holders, not our members. Being privately held assures you that each decision will be based on what is best for you.” Pause… “What other questions do you have about how to make money?”

11) Are you a member of the Better Business Bureau?

Again, what people are really asking here is, “Is this company for real? Is it something I can feel confident in?”

You can start by keeping the answer to this question short and sweet. “Good question. Yes. My Power Mall is registered with the Better Business Bureau.” Pause. “What else can I tell you about getting your business started?”

So there you go… 4 more questions – 4 more answers. Do you see how all this is building on itself? Your confidence will grow in relationship to your knowledge AND your experience. We can give you information – only you can provide the experience that comes from talking to people. And you know what? You’re going to screw up. You’re going to choke when people ask you questions. You’re going to get flustered and think what an idiot you are. So what? That’s part of learning. Just keep doing it. You’ll become more confident. You’ll become smoother. Your business will continue to grow. Allow yourself to be human – you can’t stop it from happening anyway!
