So, did you do your homework yesterday? Did you really go over those questions? We hope so, because we’re getting ready to increase your knowledge. We can give you information, but only you can do what it takes to build on your knowledge. We have so much confidence in your ability to build your My Power Mall business. We want to do everything we can to give you what you need to do it successfully. So let’s keep going…

5) Is this legal?

Let’s not make a big deal out of this. There will be plenty of time to provide credibility info if this is something that really concerns them. But it might be just a knee-jerk reaction. Let’s see…

“Absolutely this is legal. Do you see an opportunity here?” Then pause.

The pauses are critical. It’s too easy just to keep talking. Don’t. Pause, and let them fill the silence. You want to see what kind of response you are going to get. Some people will roll right on with you because they don’t even know enough about the industry to know they should be concerned. We’ll fill in the gaps and give them the info they need with their training. But if they continue asking, they probably have a good reason. People are wise to be concerned about the legality. This is your chance to tell them some of My Power Mall’s credibility factors. They’re really very simple.

No one has to pay money to become a member.

Money is only made when someone actually purchases something from the 1000+ stores on our Mall.

We are in partnership with stores like Sears, Home Depot, Eddie Bauer, Target, Macy’s and hundreds more.

6) Where can I document this?

People are going to ask this question after you have presented the My Power Mall opportunity to them. They like what they see, but….

Ah hah!! This was a trick question. You really shouldn’t be telling them enough that they need to go document – not if you’re using the tools correctly. Remember – you just want to get them to the website. That will be the documentation they are looking for – with all the facts they need to make a good decision.

7) How much money have you made?

Okay, this is a baited question – especially if you are a brand new member. Let’s have some fun with it!

“How much money would you like me to be making?” Then be quiet. They’ll usually respond with something like, “Well, uh…” Or maybe they’ll give you some kind of figure. Whatever they say, your response is, “You know, ___________, I could tell you anything. You really don’t have a way to verify it. The more important question is whether you see My Power Mall as a business that can make you the kind of money you want to make. Let’s determine that, then I’ll help you achieve those goals!” Then give them an Invitation card or get their email address and send them an E-card. They have to really see it for themselves.

Always be honest. Don’t ever lie to anyone about how much money you’ve made. Don’t ever overstate how much money you’ve made, or over-project how much money you’ve made. First of all, it pays to be honest. If you’re doing very well, just tell them, “I’m living a very comfortable 6-figure lifestyle.” Or, “I’m enjoying 5-figure results from the comfort of my home.”

Don’t oversell My Power Mall. Don’t promote this as a get-rich-quick-deal. My Power Mall is a business, and will only grow if you treat it like one. Tell people their income potential is only limited by what they do, but that the results are up to each individual person.

So okay, you now have more homework to do. Take the time to pore over these now, so that you’ll be ready for more questions and answers tomorrow. Remember, the people who will have the things that other people dream about, are the ones who will do the things other people only think about!

We believe in you!

Shopping Tip: Once you make a purchase from your mall you will most likely begin receiving emails from those merchants. NEVER use the link in their emails because you will NOT receive credit for your purchase(s) as we cannot track purchases unless they are made in your mall. However - if they offer a coupon code, write it down so you can enter it at the time of checkout (from your mall, of course!) and get that special product or sale price!

Business Building Tip: Never, ever, ever use a Guaranteed-Sign-Up company! These businesses add bogus people to your downline. We can tell who they are because of the ISP used and the sequence of My Power Mall #s being assigned, and we routinely delete them. There is no use adding malls in your downline if the owners of those malls are not going to shop! You can have 10,000 malls with no one shopping and you've wasted your money because NO ONE MAKES MONEY UNLESS SHOPPING IS BEING DONE!!

Change the World Tip: Have members collect new toys, school supplies, hard candy and other gifts that can fit into a shoebox. These items can be sent year-round to: Samaritan's Purse International Headquarters, 801 Bamboo Road, Boone, N.C. 28607. Or your church can participate in Operation Christmas Child which is the same shoebox ministry. National Collection Week occurs in November, so you need to start early. Go to: www.samaritanspurse.org/OCC_LocalReps.asp and choose your state on the map to find more information about your local drop-off sites. (From our 101 Ways Your Church Can Change the World ebook)
